A hilarious comedy starring Mike Myers as guru Pitka in his first original character since the blockbuster hit Austin Powers. Myers can't resist a good bodily functions joke--unfortunately, he can't resist a bad one either, so The Love Guru is crammed top to bottom with jokes about urine, feces, sex, genitalia--lots and lots about male genitalia--along with many, many gags about Canada, drugs, elephants, inspirational catchphrases, and little people (Vern "Mini-Me" Troyer takes the brunt of these). But the Austin Powers movies were pretty much the same sort of lowbrow comedy grab-bag; though the ratio of good to bad might be weaker here, a good handful of bits offer solid laughs, including some mock-Bollywood musical numbers. Also featuring pop star Justin Timberlake (as a preposterously well-endowed French-Canadian), Ben Kingsley (as Pitka's cross-eyed mentor), Stephen Colbert (as a drug-addled sports announcer), as well as numerous celebrity cameos. --Bret Fetzer

Beautiful Blu-Ray Transfer
I know this movie just received the award for worst movie of the year. However, I laughed myself silly over and through this movie. I am not giving it a five star rating for content but will not apologize for liking it either. I am instead giving it a five star rating as the picture and sound are so sharp. The many colors of this movie are absolutely gorgeous. If you like this movie and are on the fence on if you want to own it on Blu-ray, I would definitely recommend it.

Mike got it right this time!
Well just let me start off with the Austin Powers Trilogy where everyone got a taste of mike myers brand of comedy. But to me, We see bits and pieces of his zanyness scattered throughout the trilogy.

The Love Guru, however, i must say his "zanyness" and humor comes through effectively in the dialogue and almost every scene. This is mike Myers at his best! i'm surprised at the bad reviews this movie got. i was laughing my heads off in almost every scene.

So go grab this movie and some popcorns! This is a "do not have to think too hard" movie that will definitely bring the smiles back to you for at least the duration of the movie!

Mike Myers left field humor
Fantastic flick. Its a bit of a stretch for the normal movie fan, but I found this highly addictive and funny- my friends and I continuously quote the movie which is a sign that its a definitely an awesome flick !

Don't buy into all the negative reviews... watch it for yourself.
