Product Description

The second in the "Falcon" amateur series, with Sanders in the title role, has Sanders standing up his fiancee, Barrie, in order to investigate the kidnaping of a brilliant scientist for his formula for producing synthetic diamonds, which are badly needed in defense manufacturing. Sanders, always keeping an eye out for the girls, of course, allows himself to be captured so that he may come up with a plan to rescue himself and the scientist, while at the same time capturing the crooks. Light comedy as Sanders continually stands up Barrie, who wants to take an air trip west, and plenty of mugging by the cast keeps the whole thing going at a cheerful pace.

The Falcon and the Empty Plane3
THE FALCON IN DANGER(1943)---Tom Conway, Jean Brooks, Elaine Shepard, Amelita Ward, Cliff Clark, Ed Gargan, Clarence Kolb, Richard Martin.
When an airplane makes a "wobbly" landing at the airport, an investigation reveals that there is no one aboard and the plane's controls were set on "auto pilot". In addition to the pilot, a wealthy industrialist, his personal secretary, and $100,000 in negotiable securities are also missing. Naturally, The Falcon is called in to help solve the mystery. This is a pretty good entry in the series and the identity of the culprit is rather effectively hidden until the end of the film, although there are clues dropped earlier in the movie for the observant.
