Like Catching Up With Old Friends!!5
I loved watching this HBO Series immensely and was sad to see it go off the air! So, when "Sex & The City", the movie came out, it felt like catching up with old friends you hadn't seen in a few years....

The movie still has the same cast of actors playing the roles of characters we've come to know and love. Everything in the movie clicked and felt right from the storyline, the funny situations and the blips that happen along the way. Watching the movie version of "Sex & The City" was like watching an extended version of one of the television episodes, letting us, the viewers, see where & what the characters are up to now.

The entire movie was well done. If you liked the television series, then you'll like the movie too.

Sex and the City4
It was like visiting my old friends once again. I enjoyed the movie from beginning to end. The ladies, as always, did not dissapoint. If you are not a fan of Sex and the City TV series, stay home. If you are a fan, go alone or with other fans. The non-addicted to Sex and the City will make nasty comments and spoil all the fun. It's the clothes, the locations, the friendships, and yes the sex. It was great.

They did it!5
I have to tell you I was a little skeptical (ok a lot skeptical) when I heard they were making a Sex and the City movie. Even when I found out that all the same actors were going to be in the film, I just didn't really believe that they could take the nature of the series and turn it into a storyline that would wrap in the length of a film and still be true to the series. I was so wrong. They really did an outstanding job. I loved the fact that Mr. Big became more of a real person in the movie, something I always found lacking in the series (especially since I was definitely in the Big camp versus the Aidan camp.) I smiled a LOT at the dialog and felt my heart almost literally break at one point (which I won't spoil.) I am only sorry that I did not realize, and therefore did not wait, for the extended version, because, of course, I HAD to have it. Just buy it, you won't be sorry. I also feel that you CAN watch this movie if you did not see the series. The background us die hard series fans will have does certainly enhance the movie experience, but the movie is enough of a story in its own that you can understand and enjoy it independantly from the series.
