Lost and Found in Los Angeles5
Stolen Goods is the newly colorized version of John Wayne's classic film, Blue Steel. Presumably the production company feels like the added colorization is enough to consider the film a new title and they're closer to the mark than you may think. You'll be surprised at how much the color alters your perception of the film.

A throwback to the days when movies were shot on location rather than in the computer rendering farms of today, Stolen Goods is a sumptuous visual feast, even moreso now that color has been added to the wilderness landscapes of Southern California. This is what Westerns are all about! (and a little gunplay never hurt, either).

Those familiar with Wayne's corpus--you know, those of you who've figured out what the "married" man can't find--will appreciate seeing The Duke in perfect, vibrant color for the first time. This film is also notable for its cultivation of the relationship between Wayne and his perennial foil and sidekick, Gabby Hayes (the man responsible for the grizzled, old frontiersman stereotype; you'll know him when you see him).
