Surfdog Records presents the ultimate Brian Setzer Orchestra holiday package. The CD includes the brand new 'Best Of' collection featuring two previously unreleased tracks, and the DVD contains a full length BSO holiday concert filmed in December 2004 at L.A.'s sold out Universal Amphitheatre. It's a full 1 hour and 40 minute show, with added backstage footage and behind the scenes work with Brian and Crew. This is the same concert film that was broadcast on PBS stations during the 2006 fundraising drive.

Marvelous Merriment!
The first thing I did when I received this in the mail was pop in the DVD ~ I have been a fan of Setzers since the Stray Cat days and have seen him play a few times. He is an amazing guitarist and knows how to put on one heck of a show, AND it's all captured on this dvd. The musicians behind him follow suit and are equally as gifted. These guys (and dolls) look like they are having the time of their life and it's contagious. The DVD features swingin' holiday favorites, but Setzer also ventures into some of his rockabilly tunes with Bernie Dresel on drums and John Hatton on bass, making for an outstanding trio performance.

This is a must have for your holiday library of music. The fact that you get this great DVD with the musical CD just makes this one fantastic package.

Sizzling Santa Setzer
Very different slant to the Christmas album , plenty of raunchy guitar alond with some neat big band arrangements. The DVD is a great bonus even if it looks a bit twee at times . I imagine that the impact would be far greater live on stage.
All things considered this is a good package, well worth the listen.

Awesome recording/DVD
A great collection of Christmas songs and a great concert on DVD all for under $20- Who could ask for anything more? If you're a Setzer fan you cannot be without this essential collection.
