Very good Product
I used this product to increase the safety of footing on oak stairs after having slipped or fallen down the stairs several times in just a few months. The product was extremely easy to install. The photo on Amazon makes it look white, but that is just the paper backing- it is a clear plastic. Once installed on the oak floor, it was nearly invisible from most viewing angles, which is what we hoped for. The tread is indeed light in that you don't notice it much. It s textured enough to significantly increase safety. I only give it a 4 instead of a 5 because I would have preferred a bit more texture, so maybe a medium duty instead of a light duty. But if you want a very light duty texture, then this is it. Since installing the product, I feel much safer going down the stairs.
