Actress and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Lisa Rinna burns up the dance floor in the instructional DVD Lisa Rinna Dance Body Beautiful: Ballroom Learn and Burn. In collaboration with her DWTS partner Louis Van Amstel, Rinna has come up with a relatively slick-looking workout video that attempts to teach viewers how to ballroom dance (hustle, rumba, paso doble, quick step) and firm up, too. Based on the conceit that the majority of DWTS contestants lose weight and get into tip-top shape during their weeks of competition, Ballroom Learn & Burn tries to get viewers motivated to rumba and hustle in their living rooms. If you have some experience with ballroom dancing, it won't be difficult to keep up with Rinna. But unless you've had a few lessons at Arthur Murray, the pace may be too fast for novices. The direction could be more user-friendly, too; for instance, Rinna gives direction from her point of view, but that encourages the viewer to go in the opposite direction as her. Clearly, Rinna is a talented hoofer. But whether those of us following the instructions here can become good dancers, too, is debatable. --Jae-Ha Kim

I loved this!!!
I never really used workout DVDs, I didn't really know what to expect, but I absolutely love this workout. Lisa Rinna makes it so much fun, and easy to follow. It breaks down into four basic simple dances: Cha Cha, Jive, Salsa, and Disco. I broke a serious sweat while doing this enjoyable DVD, and helped me practice my dance moves! Lisa Rinna is so adorable and has an amazing body; it just makes you want to move. I highly recommend this DVD.
I've lost SEVEN pounds!
Who doesn't love Lisa Rinna? I still love her from Days of Our Lives and want her body bad! This DVD got me in the mood AND I've already lost SEVEN pounds. I love my new dress size- this is a good one!
Bad cuing, No workout to be found here.
I wanted to love the CD, I've seen her in person, and Lisa is so motivational. That is why this CD is such a dissapointment. The cuing is bad. Th instructions are frustratimg. She says left, when it's my right. Dance instructions are given for four dances. Lisa isn't in control of the class. She seems to be always looking off to get instruction from some one. Many times the dancers in the back have started a move long before Lisa calls it. The dances are broken into individual segment. It would have been nice if they had put them together to form a workout. You don't do one move long enought to break a sweat or get a good workout. I own dozens of workout tapes. This one is at the bottom of the list
