Re-Introducing an old friend: ATCS 840 constitutes a classic all-aluminum design that builds on the legacy of the original ATCS design. The aluminum construction not only allows for a lighter weight but complements the thermal design seamlessly with three 230mm fans, dedicated air duct for graphics card cooling and HDD cooling module for superb cooling. What's New: Extra attention was paid to make sure this elegantly designed chassis is not only easy to install but easy to maintain. This includes: slide-out motherboard tray along with cut out CPU access for easy removal, tool-free HDD casing, and patented finger pressing 5.25" drive. A Goliath!
As others have already mentioned, this is one very large case. Make sure you have room for it. For me, its size was another selling point because I wanted a case that was roomy and allowed for good air circulation. This case had both. The three massive fans (2 on top and one in front, hidden by the hard drive cage) along with the 120 mm fan in the rear provide very adequate air flow and they are whisper quiet. At idle or when doing mundane tasks (like writing this review) you won't know its on. My case arrived with a small bend in the side panel but I was able to straighten it out and it is not that noticeable. I mounted my power supply on the bottom but it can also be mounted on the top. If you do buy this case, don't waste money buying an additional hardware kit because this case comes with all the hardware you'll need. All in all, a very well engineered full tower case that comes with all the extras you can think of.
