Dremel nail groomer
It works ok when fully charged but you better have a friendy dog as it takes some getting use to, I like it because my dog doesn't mind but be careful not to use it to long on each nail as the nail gets hot. I still clip my dogs and use this to finish.

Works on long-haired cats too!
I used this on my cat because she is long-haired. The fur between her toes is especially long and it's difficult to find her claws. The Dremel Pet Nail Grooming Kit made it much easier and faster to clip her claws. Before I had to spread out her fingers and find each claw, but with this tool I just have to find approximately where they are and hold the tool against them. I recommend holding the tool upright when trimming claws because holding it sideways can make the claw move a lot more and pull slightly. The grit of the sander bands is rough enough to dull the claws, but gentle enough that it didn't scratch my fingers (even on the high speed setting). Be prepared for a burning smell and some nail dust. Also, when I trim my cat's claws with any tool, I wrap her in a towel so she is restrained. I think it would be a very rare cat that would sit calmly while their claws were clipped using any method. I recommend this product for cat owners with long-haired cats and cats who won't let their paws be held for long enough to clip them.
