Product Description

This is a great product for mounting your UMPC in the car. All you need to to do is loosen the bolt on your passenger seat and fasten the bracket. It will sit at a perfect angle for viewing. We provide heavy duty velcro strips to adhere your unit to the 5x5 inch mounting plate. Most people attach these to the seat bolt as pictured but we also provide permanent floor mounting hardware if you wish to mount it permanently.

Customer Reviews

Car Laptop holder5
I have a small Vaio which is about the same size as the small ASUS. This holder is really great. Easy to install, cheap, and sturdy enough.

Great holder for a Netbook in the car5
I chose to use my Acer Net-book as a GPS and Internet mobile platform. This mount does a great job of holding the Net-book stable in conjunction with Velcro. I highly recommend this mount as a low cost solution for mobile in-car usage.

Great mount for the price5
It's not as fancy as the ones the cops have, but it gets the job done. I'm using my EeePC as a GPS unit (partly because it has a larger screen) and I need it to be easily visible for consultation, but away from the controls and leaving an unimpeded view of the road. This mount lets me set it up just right of the console, slightly above seat level. It was easy to install (although you might want to have a socket wrench handy, as I couldn't get to the seat bolt I wanted to use with a box wrench). It seems secure so far. The real test is a road trip, but I'm not planning my next one for several more weeks.
