Dreamlike plot - incredible erotic scenes
First, the erotic scenes: These are like nothing else in any movie you have ever seen. "The Shattered" runs the gamut of every type of lesbian scene in ways that you have never seen, no matter how much erotica or porn you have watched. The scenes are much more than enough to justify the price, IMHO.

The plot: A lot better than "Pirates", this one will appeal strongly to fans of dreamlike hentai and magical realism. It's not "Casablanca", but it's engaging enough to make it a worthwhile experience.

Low Budget Occult Film
What happens when you performs an occult incantation? You get an hour of lesbian sex. The main character is transported into a parallel dimension, which looks like someone's bedroom. Once there, the demon has sex with her ... again ... and again ... and again. The girl's sister has lesbian sex with a roommate even though she does not want to. Why? I am not quite sure. Then a demon hunter arrives. I mean she just shows up in their living room. She has a magic knife to slay the demon. You get the point.

Later in the movie, they play some terrible music. 70's theme jazz would have been better. It breaks the dramatic tension.

I really liked the idea behind the plot. It was fun and inventive. However, this is a low-budget film of the Indie class. Don't look for great special effects, well written dialog ... or well ... anything else. Did I mention they have lots and lots of lesbian sex? It's really hot and all that, but they could have worked at the other scenes a bit more.

Not so erotic
Erotic if you like somewhat overweight girls being screwed by a post-op transgendered wearing a strap on. This is a good piece of film work and visual ideas are interesting compared to many items in this genre, but I feel it would only be shocking or new to someone who had only seen R rated films before. As usual acting skills are completely absent, but at least it is a very good quality strap-on (wonder where you could buy one like it...?)
