Customer Reviews
Awesome artwork and equally great Blues cd! Best quality available.
For those of you who never had the pleasure of owning and listening to Blues Images, you are in for a real treat. John Tefteller makes the world's greatest blues calendar using images from the Paramount Records Archive, which he purchased several years ago. The artwork is not only stunning, but it looks like R Crumb went into a time machine and illustrated Blues record advertisements. Crumb himself endorses this product, what more needs to be said! Besides the great artwork, you also get a cd produced by legendary Yazoo records, exclusively for this calendar with 18 classic blues songs, some heard here for the first time. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
another great calendar
Once again, Blues Images has produced another great calendar. Each month has classic artwork from the 1920s that was used to promote blues singles. Each month also tells about that month's artist or song and has notable blues artists' birthdays. In addition to the calendar, the accompanying CD contains the featured songs plus 6 more.
