Dick Wessel died April 20, 1965 of a heart attack. Age: 52. Played a mailman and a bus driver in some of the "Blondie" films. Died on his birthday.

Paul Mantz died July 8, 1965, Stuntman. Age: 61. Attempting to land a pieced-together plane in Butterfield Valley, California for the film, Flight of the Phoenix (1965). Bobby Rose was behind him and survived.

Dorothy Danridge died September 8, 1965. Sleeping pills. Accidental barbiturate overdose. Problem with alcohol. Last film: Moment of Death (1960).

Marie McDonald died Oct. 21, 1965. Percodan overdose. Age: 42. Born in Bergin, Kentucky July 6, 1923. Was a model and showgirl from Kentucky.

Jonathan Hale died March 2, 1966. Suicide. Depressed in the Motion Picture Country Home. Known for his role in the "Blondie" film series and many serials.

Lenny Bruce died August 3, 1966 of a morphine overdose. Club comedian who used obscene language and coined the phrase "T&A". Movies: Dance Hall Racket (1953),Dream Follies (1954),The Leather Jacket (1955). Dustin Hoffman portrayed him in the film, Lenny (1974).

Bob Duncan died March 13, 1967. Suicide.

Vivian Leigh died July 7, 1967. Suffered tuberculosis for 20 years. This night her lungs filled with liquid and she collapsed. Age: 53. Best remembered as "Scarlett O'Hara" in Gone With the Wind (1939), A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (1961). Last film: Ship of Fools (1965).

Bobby Driscoll had a very dark life. Found dead unidentified March 30, 1968 in a deserted tenement. Hepatitis from drug use. 19 months later, after burial, body was identified as Driscoll.

Albert Dekker died May 5, 1968. Suicide.

Marion Lorne died May 9, 1968. Heart attack. Played Aunt Clara" on the original "Bewitched" tv series.
