Thank goodness Nancy has a car! She drives all over. Nancy climbing into the van is still scary after all these years.

Often cited as the best of the series. Very believable adventure with a nod to Holmes' "Hound."

Not much of a clue in the diary. And still going back to the scene of the crime for one more clue.

Scary bad guy, and danger toward the end. Otherwise, it's silly.

Stupid! Back she goes to a house with no floors and a maze and a cave!

Nancy plays too much golf. And of course she wins. Not much mystery.

No driving around this time. Nancy is on a cruise. Good use of the limited setting. But how one person can find umpteen secret compartments in one trunk is beyond me.

Good detective work, but the ending is rushed.

Well written--except once again the bad guys keep sneaking into the house while they are all there. No guards, not even for the child. Just the usual "Be careful Nancy." Ned is the deus ex machina.
