R Independent The next best movie I have ever seen. Kept me on the edge of my seat better than Hitchcock.

R Independent Laughed all the way through. The second movie (II) is even better if possible. This took four years to make and you can see it was well worth it. Independent film-Hollywood can't make one this good.

Spencer Tracy won an Oscar for his performance. Amazing setting in Arizona ghost town. Tracy's character almost didn't make it out alive. Totally awesome, and different, edge of your seat suspense.

See Humphrey Bogart's finest performance as a villain scum who goes insane after he strikes gold in the Mexican wilderness. He tries to kill his noble partners as paranoia sets in. A must see.

Amazing photography and story of these noble creatures. A story of great love, passion, fatherhood, community, intelligence, survival against all odds, not just a story for kids at all. The story of how they shot this footage could be a movie in itself. Bring Keenex, anyone with a heart and soul will shed tears at the power of this movie. A MUST see!

Fantastic plot twists-they even make you promise not to tell anyone how it ends! You've never seen a plot twist like this, and Marlene Deitrich is AWESOME! The STORY was the point back then!
