	Without a Warning by Sue Foley Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $2.76 Less fireworks than her smashing debut "Young Girl Blues", but more fluid. Sue takes the Texas Beat to another level on "Live Together" and "Truckin' Little Woman".
	The Bonnie Raitt Collection by Bonnie Raitt Buy used from: $1.30 Before commercial success, Bonnie made excellent albums for almost two decades. A respectable introduction to that time period is presented here.
	Flaming Red by Patty Griffin Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $2.43 "Flaming Red" in retrospect was a powerhouse album. Some fans just weren't ready for Patty to plug in. As they say timing is everything.
	Sweet Forgiveness by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $3.48 Her most overlooked CD, equal to anything of the 90's. The key moments are the classic "Runaway", Blues Rocking "Gamblin' Man", heavenly ballad "Home", faded jeans and Freebo.
	Walkin' on the Moon by Katy Moffatt Buy used from: $2.37 Well crafted songs and stories from beginning to end. Music still means something.
	Luck of the Draw by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $0.12 The very best studio release of the contemporary years. Good song/album continuity with a voice is full of confidence. "Papa Come Quick" is a nice change of tempo near the end.
	Where the Action Is by Sue Foley Buy new: $17.98 / Used from: $2.30 Following her top vocal effort on "Love Comin' Down", Foley brings back the electric guitar to full throttle. Sue and her bandmates take a trip down Rolling Stones Lane.
	Nick of Time by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $0.01 A grammy award winner well deserved. "Nick Of Time" and "Thing Called Love" brought her to the amphitheaters, but "Have A Heart" is the song to go to bed with.
	1000 Kisses by Patty Griffin Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $3.98 An overwhelming piece of work. Patty returns back to the acoustic sound, this time spreading love instead of frustration ("Living With Ghosts").
	Beat the Retreat: Songs by Richard Thompson by Maddy Prior Buy used from: $2.99 An outstanding tribute. My favorite Raitt song since the "Luck Of The Draw" album is "When The Spell Is Broken". Bonnie takes the slide past the ozone layer.
	The Evangeline Hotel by Katy Moffatt Buy used from: $3.73 "The Greatest Show On Earth" for a mellow Country Folk state of mind. No ticket is needed to ride the Tom Russell well written "Amelia's Railroad Flat" and touching title track.
	Takin' My Time by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $3.59 Her easy listening, soulful recording until "Kokomo Blues" kicks in with excellent bottleneck guitar work. "Guilty" is the reminder where she came from.
	Walk in the Sun by Sue Foley Buy used from: $7.32 A good lightweight recording of primarily Sue Foley written songs with the emphasis on slow Blues and acoustic saloon music. The redhead's trademark guitar shuffle comes late on "Better".
	Streetlights by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $4.74 Bonnie's first attempt at going mainstream, includes the studio version of "Angel From Montgomery" and smooth "Rainy Day Man". Be forewarned her defined guitar is MIA.
	Waiting for the Sky... by Lisa Haley Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $5.70 Charismatic fiddler/singer Lisa Haley brings appetizing Zydeco music to the 21st century mixing in Country, Rock and Blues. Freebo plays tuba on the title track.
	Kim Lenz & Her Jaguars by Kim Lenz & Her Jaguars Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $4.14 1950's music for modern times. Authentic sound recorded in one track! The cover is a copy cat from the old album of Gene Vincent.
	Road Tested [VHS] Buy used from: $0.80 The versatility of Bonnie Raitt in a live setting. Good camera work and special guests make for an enjoyable concert. The highlight of highlights is her duet with Jackson Browne.

	The Healer by John Lee Hooker Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $7.87 Ms. Raitt has always paid homage to greats of the past like Ruth Brown and Sippie Wallace. She takes no prisoners with John Lee Hooker on "I'm In The Mood".
	Back to the Blues by Sue Foley Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $7.49 Unreleased songs and alternate takes from the "Young Girl Blues" and "Without A Warning" sessions. Club/Record company owner Clifford Antone pulls some pleasant surprises from the vaults.
	Road Tested by Bonnie Raitt Buy new: $26.99 / Used from: $1.73 The double live CD smartly avoids "The Best Of" route. Obscurities come off polished. Newer material has more kick. A 4 to a 5 star after seeing the video.
	Hearts Gone Wild by Katy Moffatt Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $0.96 The former native of Ft. Worth can't be lumped into a specific music catagory. On "Hearts Gone Wild", she went Country Pop Rockin' reminicent of the old days of Ronstadt and Harris.
	Antone's 20th Anniversary [2-CD SET] by Various Artists Buy used from: $7.60 Sue Foley must be seen live - "Truckin' Little Woman" to be fully appreciated. Kim Wilson - "I'm Leaving You" is one of the few musicians to have worked with both Foley and "The Going Raitt".
