On the night of his initial broadcast, the inventor is murdered in the middle of his demonstration.

(1936) Bela Lugosi plays nightclub owner Gregory Benez, who is in debt to the mob. When he learns of a shipment of $3 million in old bills from a local bank to Washington, DC, he decides to rob the train. Brave postal inspectors track down the money stolen from the railroad car.

(1939) Greta Garbo stars as Ninotchka, a stern Russian woman who is sent to Paris to investigate the sale of royal jewels. She finds herself attracted to Count Leon, played by Melvyn Douglas. Bela Lugosi has a supporting role as a Russian named Razinin.

(1940) When his friend Professor Kingsely is dying, brain surgeon Dr. Sovac (Boris Karloff) saves his life by transplanting part of injured gangster Red Cannon's brain. Red Cannon's gang is taken over by Eric Marnay (Bela Lugosi).

(1940) Bela Lugosi as Dr. Paul Carruthers: "So you tried to pay me in flattery, telling me that I'm a dreamer. Well, I do dream. Dreams that you would never guess.

(1941) Bela Lugosi stars as Charles Kessler, whose wife is thought dead but is actually being hidden away after a car crash left her mind a mess. Whenever his supposedly dead wife appears outside his window, Charles goes into a trance. She commands him to kill for her.

(1941) When one of the East Side Kids gets shot, they are forced to spend the night in an old mansion. Bela Lugosi plays Nardo, the owner of the mansion.

(1942) Dr. Lynne Harper (Irene Hervey) has been called out to the old Ingston Mansion in order to make an assessment of the sanity of Margaret Ingston. Bela Lugosi plays Rolf, a sinister butler.

Bela Lugosi plays the evil Ygor in both "Son Of Frankenstein" (1939), and "The Ghost Of Frankenstein" (1942).

(1943) Bela Lugosi stars as Dr. James Brewster, a mad scientist. Aided by his colleague Dr. Randall, Dr. Brewster conducts experiments that transform him into a hairy ape-man. Desperately seeking a cure, Dr. Brewster believes that only an injection of human spinal fluid will prove effective.

(1944) In 1918, an English family are terrorized by a vampire named Armand Tesla (Bela Lugosi), until they drive a stake through his heart and bury him. In 1944, German bombs unearth his grave, and the stake is removed. He assumes the identity of Dr. Hugo Bruckner, a scientist who supposedly escaped from a concentration camp. He then starts to get his revenge upon the same family.

(1947) From the morgue, a dead woman relates the story of how she got there, through a maze of murder involving a hypnotist, a midget, and a mysterious figure in a blue mask. Bela Lugosi plays the hypnotist, Professor Leonide.

(1952) Bela Lugosi plays Von Housen the vampire, who plans to control the world with the help of his robot, which accidentally gets shipped to Mother Riley (Arthur Lucan). This is the last in the Mother Riley film series (1937-1952), and the last time Bela Lugosi would play a vampire on film.

This 5-DVD boxed set includes 10 movies, from "Devil Bat" (1940), to "Boys From Brooklyn" (1952). The 1952 movie is also known as "Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla.

(1956) This film was produced, written, and directed by Ed Wood. Bela Lugosi is a mad scientist. His assistant is Lobo, played by Tor Johnson. I love that scene with the fake octopus!
