	Rockin' the Suburbs by Ben Folds Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $2.78 You probably know this guy a la Ben Folds Five, but have you heard this solo album? Some beautiful songwriting.
	Spilt Milk by Jellyfish Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $1.98 Excellent, interesting pop/rock with super tight musicianship
	It's All Good News [CD on Demand] by Ed's Redeeming Qualities Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $5.40 These guys are strange. The dark side of folk music. Track down "More Bad Times" if you can find it.
	Discipline by King Crimson Buy used from: $8.91 Classic "progressive" / "experimental" rock. Complexity. Virtuosity.
	Owsley by Owsley Buy used from: $0.74 Homespun pop/rock goodness from Nashville. Great tunes and tight production from Owsley's home studio.
	Trio Fattoruso by Trio Fattoruso Buy used from: $3.98 If you've never been introduced to the Uruguayan music scene, you're missing something weird and wonderful. Family Fattoruso don't disappoint. See also: Leo Masliah, Toninho Horta and Eduardo Mateo.
	Wooden Smoke Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $12.99 Keneally used to play with Zappa, so you know he's got chops. He can also write complex, beautiful songs that rock.
	Thing-Fish by Frank Zappa Buy used from: $11.88 Speaking of Zappa... Perhaps more notable for its ambition than its ultimate outcome, still, Thingfish has some priceless moments.
	Time on My Hands by John Scofield Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $4.41 Had to throw some jazz in the mix. This is one of Scofield's finest albums with some of his finest compositions.
	2 Drink Minimum by Wayne Krantz Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $8.96 Edgy, funky jazz recorded live at NY's 55 Bar. Wayne Krantz is a special guitarist, and this is, I think, his finest work.
	Wardenclyffe Tower by Allan Holdsworth Buy used from: $13.95 If you've never heard Holdsworth, he's simply the most incredible guitarist and "jazz" (not what you're thinking of as jazz, probably) composer of our time.
	We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes by Death Cab for Cutie Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $4.92 These guys are great. Melancholy, smooth, indie-pop without the prozac.
