![]() | Night Tide
Buy new: $26.99 / Used from: $15.97 This best release of Harrington's moving feature debut contains audio commentary and liner notes.
![]() | Planet of Blood (Queen of Blood)
Produced by Roger Corman and edited around Mikhail Karzhukov and Otar Koberidze's _Mechte navstrechu_, Harrington considers the finished film 75% his.
![]() | Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet
Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $1.80 Harrington augmented Andre's obsession with the siren song in a basically faithful Americanization of Pavel Klushantsev's _Planeta Bur_, again produced by Corman.
![]() | Games (1967) [VHS]
Buy used from: $94.95 Pan and scan VHS is all that is available of Harrington's only scope ratio film, a vivid depiction of quirky murders in a colorful New York City townhouse.
![]() | How Awful About Allan
Buy used from: $13.96 Great imagery abounds in this slight but effective film, Harrington and Perkins working on a TV movie for the first time. The Legacy disc is virtually artifact-free, but has one odd video jump.
![]() | What's the Matter with Helen?/Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? (Midnite Movies Double Feature)
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $4.95 Some of Harrington's strongest work is this pair featuring Shelley Winters as sympathetic but disturbed individuals.
![]() | Sadist/Killing Kind
Buy new: $4.49 / Used from: $2.30 Extremely faded and pixelly presentation of a very disturbing film about a man driven mad by an unjust prison stay.
![]() | Dead Don't Die [VHS]
Buy used from: $3.05 Harrington's fourth made-for-TV movie (_The Cat Creature_ & _Killer Bees_ remain unavailable) is a noirish approach to Haitian zombies set in the late 1930s.
![]() | Devil Dog; Hound of Hell
Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $12.57 Harrington's fifth made for TV movie is more effective than he considers it. Though the effects aren't great, a cute dog makes an eerier villain than an obviously evil one. The Witch Mountain kids have more convincing chemsitry than ever.
![]() | Ruby
Buy used from: $13.85 Harrington's biggest commercial hit restored, except for the producer's cheap shot at the end. A version heavily altered for television and credited to Alan Smithee was on the intital VHS release. This is another period piece, but it's primarily a ghost story; the possession is only a brief part of the film.
![]() | Mata Hari
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $4.94 Harrington's final feature film, after which he practiced his craft in TV, and made the experimental short _Usher_ in 2002. This film is a well-researched erotic war drama. It suffers from the seedy Cannon feel, but Kristel is surprisingly as good in the dramatic scenes as the erotic ones.
