(1979) Sci-Fi/Horror film of mood through superb photography. This DVD contains both the original theatrical release and an alternate 2003 version, but the original is Ridley's preference. This disc does not contain many of the extra features available on the previous DVD release, unless you buy the 'Alien Quadrilogy' set which includes the extras.

This DVD box set contains five versions of the film Blade Runner: 1, the original 1982 U.S. theatrical print, 2, the 1982 European print, 3, the 1991 Director's Cut, 4, the 2007 New Final Cut, and 5, the 1982 Work Print version.

(2005) Fantastic, provocative movie, better than his previous work Gladiator, severely undercut by undeserved low U.S. box office ticket sales. This is an excellent and intelligent film. Ignore the right-wing negativity directed at this film. Scriptwriter William Monahan received an Oscar for writing Scorsese's The Departed, his next and second film.
