But I found Nos 7 and 8(and partly No.9) as ultra-slow and even 'deconsructive'. Though these are among interesting and important performances. This set is a must for every Brucknerian. Listen and re-discover Bruckner !

Wand, 1976-1981, Cologne(Koln) recordings...The best of Gunter Wand the great Brucknerian.Particularly,nos.1,3,8 and 9 are wonderfull and among my favorites. But his last account of the Seventh (with Berliner Philharmoniker, in 1999, live) is far better than Koln account in this set.
