	Beach Boys - 20 Good Vibrations, The Greatest Hits (Volume 1) by The Beach Boys Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $4.85 For the casual fan, this album by the band from Hawthorne, Calif. has their most famous songs. It is somewhat like the old LP "Endless -Summer" plus "Good Vibrations" and "Kokomo".
	Vacation by The Go-Go's Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $3.99 Not their best release, but "Beatnik Beach" is a real butt kicker. The Go-Go's major infuences were the early girl groups of Rock & Roll and The Ventures.
	Walk -- Don't Run: The Best of the Ventures by The Ventures Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $4.49 One of the two best all-round instrumental bands of the 60's. ( see also "Booker T' And The MG's" ). They would carry on this great sound thru the 2000's.
	The Original Soundtrack From Five Summer Stories by Honk Buy used from: $11.80 Rootsy flavored surf music makes good use of the steel guitar & organ blending in a little jazz and folk. An innovative soundtrack worth checking out for a listener looking for something different.
	Surf Party!: The Best of the Surfaris Live! by The Surfaris Buy used from: $3.69 "Wipe Out" and other good songs "Live". Great drumming.

	Return to the Valley of the Go-Go's by The Go-Go's Buy new: $31.98 / Used from: $5.97 The Go-Go's in a close to complete collection hit the beach one more time on "Surfing And Spying" ### and "Walking In The Sand". Two members would later sing on a Ventures CD ### "Surfin' Hits".
	The B-52's by The B-52's Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $2.33 The fun party band from Athens,Ga. brought dance music back to the water in the late 70's on "Rock Lobster" and ripped it up on... 'Hot Lava (From Maunaloa)'. Ricky Wilson plays like Dick Dale.
	The Best of Shelley Fabares by Shelley Fabares Buy used from: $10.71 The actress classic song - "Johnny Angel". Watching as a youngster, The Beach Boys, Shelley, and The Rivingtons - "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" put on a great show at the Hollywood Bowl for $2.50
	Beach Boys - The Greatest Hits Vol. 2: 20 More Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $3.49 More hits if the first volume is not enough. The deep harmony of "In My Room" to the beach dancing "Do It Again".
	A Summer Place [VHS] Buy used from: $3.18 ( THE MOVIES )...The romantic innocence of the late 50's starring Troy Donohue and Sandra Dee.
	Palm Springs Weekend [VHS] Buy used from: $8.95 The fun flick with Troy, Stephanie Powers, Connie Stevens, Jerry Van Dyke and Robert Conrad. Vintage scenes of the Riviera Hotel and California desert.
	Muscle Beach Party/Ski Party Buy used from: $14.99 The beach movie of its time with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello. Early music features Dick Dale and a young Stevie Wonder. "Ski Party" has cameos w/James Brown and Lesile Gore.
	Blue Hawaii Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $5.02 One of the two best Elvis Movies ( see also "Viva Las Vegas" ) from a music perspective.
	Girl Happy [VHS] Buy used from: $0.50 Elvis having a good time with Shelley Fabares in "The Sunshine State". He does problaby his funniest skit of his career - "Do The Clam".
	Jewel - Live at Humphrey's by the Bay Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $2.22 ( THE CONCERT DVD's )...A solid performance by the Alaskan turned Californian at one of the best outdoor venues adjacent to the water. A fan coaches Jewel on stage when she forgets the lyrics.
	Carly Simon - Live from Martha's Vineyard: The Classic Concert Buy used from: $45.00 A rare concert by Carly Simon. The background scenery is as good as it gets for a "Live" DVD in music.
	Elvis - Aloha from Hawaii (Deluxe Edition DVD) Buy new: $17.98 / Used from: $11.89 The complete performance shows that Elvis was better this night than the previous reviews.
