Closely follows the true story, with very dramatic battle scenes. Really captures the whole era well. Grade A-

Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Day-Lewis, Liam Neeson, & Mel Gibson are great! Plot drags at times, however. Grade A-

Unlike the overated Olivier version, this is very good from start to finish. The speech before the battle at Agincourt was awesome! Grade A

One of the great classics from 1939 (along with Beau Geste) has plenty of action and humor, along with an early Cary Grant performance. On dvd at last! Grade A+

"For England, for home, and for the prize!" A wonderful sea adventure and the battle scenes are very impressive. Grade A

Richard Attenborough's film has flaws but excellent battle scenes with young Churchill in the Boer War. Grade B-

A & E continues to improve the already fabulous Hornblower series. Great script, wonderful music, awesome battle scenes, & overall a very authentic atmosphere. Grade A+

Without a doubt the best film adaptation of the novel. After years of waiting, the dvd is finally being released!!! Grade A+
