	We Shall Overcome: Complete Carnegie Hall Concert by Pete Seeger Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $8.14 The original LP of this concert, containing about half the music performed, was the stuff of legend. The complete concert, heard here for the first time, is a revelation. Nothing but praise for Pete.
	Capitol Collectors Series by The Kingston Trio Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $3.31 Get any of their CDs, but by all means, get this first. The essense of the Kingston Trio at its best on a single CD. "Tom Dooley" is here, as well as lesser-known favorites like "Jane, Jane, Jane."
	The Lonely Things by Glenn Yarbrough Buy used from: $12.11 Many rank this as Glenn Yarbrough's best solo album, with which I completely agree. Best songs: The title track and "The Summertime of Days."
	Golden Classics Edition: Today/Ramblin' by The New Christy Minstrels Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $8.54 Likewise, here are the Christies' two best studio albums, recorded at the height of their powers. Their two biggest single hits, "Green, Green" and "Today," are included here.
	Sing of Our Times/The Honey Wind Blows by The Brothers Four Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $10.49 Finally, my favorite Brothers Four album, "Honey Wind," on CD! Both albums are worth your while, though, and show that this Seattle-based group did, indeed, do other things besides "Greenfields."
	Moving by Paul and Mary Peter Buy new: $13.96 / Used from: $5.99 Along with "In Concert," probably the best PP&M album out there. Highlights: "Flora," "Gone the Rainbow," and "Take Off Your Old Coat."
	Through Children's Eyes: Little Folk Songs for Adults by The Limeliters Buy new: $18.98 / Used from: $6.00 An ardent fan, I have NEVER heard a bad Limeliters album. This is the one that introduced me to them, though, and it's still their best. Great fun for both kids and adults alike.
	Santa Monica Concert by Bud & Travis Buy new: $31.98 / Used from: $22.99 While not on the level of the other performers mentioned, Bud and Travis continue to have their fans today. This California concert, a best-seller on vinyl in 1960, is them at their best.
	Belafonte at Carnegie Hall by Harry Belafonte Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $2.74 True Belafonte fans just HATE this CD because so much was cut from the original LP release. But abbreviated greatness is better than no greatness at all in one of the best live albums ever recorded!
	In Person at Carnegie Hall by The Clancy Brothers With Tommy Makem Buy used from: $1.74 Until Legacy decides to re-release "Live in Ireland" on CD, this has to rank as the best Clancy live album available. Highlights: "Johnson's Motor Car" and "Children's Medley."
	The Wayfaring Stranger by Burl Ives Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $9.89 Big Daddy the way audiences first knew him: Traditional folk ballads with guitar accompaniment. Put this CD on and see if you don't get caught up in it right away.
	The Times They Are A-Changin' by Bob Dylan Buy used from: $1.65 Arguably the best pre-electric Dylan album. The title track became an anthem for a generation, and don't tell me that "With God on Our Side" isn't as timely now (Listening, Mr. President?) as ever.
	Best of Back Porch Majority by The Back Porch Majority Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $6.05 The BPM was sort of a "farm team" for the Christies, founded, like the Christies, by Randy Sparks. Seldom mentioned when the folk revival is discussed, but good and fun all the way!
	The Best Of The Irish Rovers [Remaster] by The Irish Rovers Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $3.24 Above and beyond their super-hit, "The Unicorn," this group made some of the most infectious, enjoyable Irish music extant, including my personal favorite, "Whisky on a Sunday."
