Dylan's greatest album, which is considerable coming ten years after Highway 61 Revisited. Songwriting of pure, raw emotion that will stir your soul especially if you've ever been heartbroken.

A latter-day Dylan masterpiece. Eleven great melancholy songs about life, loss and regret that bring back memories of Blood on the Tracks. Certainly one of Dylan's best records.

A moumental classic, but I prefer Bringing It All Back Home. This record has some of his greatest songs including Rolling Stone, Desolation Row, Ballad of a Thin Man and Tombstone Blues.

Excellent sampler of the Rolling Thunder Revue tour, in which Dylan reinvents a number of his classics with a rocking band. The songs from the Desire album are especially great. Awesome live disc.

This has been a long time coming. Dylan outtakes spanning Oh Mercy to Modern Times. I LOVE this era as much as the 60s classics. Everything on here is amazing. Two versions of Mississippi, Born In Time, Cross the Green Mountain, Cocaine Blues. I love this!

Desire has great songs with a distinctive sound thanks to Scarlet Rivera's violin and Emmylou Harris' backup vocals. It's a very unique album that Dylan hasn't done anything like before or since.

Very different from what came before it, but Nashville Skyline is a great album. The lyrics are simple and kind of bland, but Bob makes it work somehow. It's a light, breezy album but still enjoyable.

I love the Rolling Thunder Revue stuff and I like this album a lot. Bootleg Series Volume 5 is better, but Hard Rain makes a nice companion to it. Some excellent performances especially You're a Big Girl Now and Idiot Wind.

Very underrated. I love this album. The horns and backup singers take some getting used to, but there are some great songs here like Changing of the Guards and Senor (Tales of Yankee Power).

Another great folk record. Not quite as good as Freewheelin', but it does have some truly great songs including the title track, Boots of Spanish Leather and The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll.

One of Dylan's better 80s albums, Infidels finds Bob in a rather cynical mood. The songs are scathing and the music is great, with guitar from Mick Taylor and Mark Knopfler, slickly produced.

Dylan's '62 debut is an assortment of blues and folk songs with only two originals. However, it features some of his best and most energetic singing and guitar/harmonica playing. An astonishing debut.

Decent live album. Listenable, but hardly revealing. The performances are pretty good and there are some interesting lyrical changes but what really makes it worthwile is the presence of Mick Taylor on guitar.

The first of Dylan's two early '90s folk collections. No original songs, just Dylan performing folk classics of yesteryear. Just Dylan and his guitar and harmonica.

Dylan returns to his roots to deliver an album of traditional folk and blues songs. Compared to Good as I Been to You this is a pretty somber set of songs, performed with conviction and some excellent acoustic guitar work.

Well... this is not Dylan at his best. The lyrics are bland religious pap. However the music is quite good as Bob has a good band behind him. This album is strictly for A)Christians or B)Completists.
