GEORGES APERGHIS (b. 1945) Wolfgang Rihm set Heinrich Muller's radical drama DIE HAMLETMASCHINE to music in the mid-80s -- here is another musical setting from the Greek/French avant-gardist. Aperghis, born in Athens, has lived in France since 1963.

VINKO GLOBOKAR (b. 1934) Globokar, of Slovenian descent, was born in France. Trombonist, composer and dada performer, he collaborated with Boulez and IRCAM, and also with Stockhausen in Germany.
