This is an animated show from AdultSwim, I love it. Season 1 is my favorite. This show pokes fun at the old Johnny Quest type cartoons, and rarely misses the mark. super villains take turns trying ruin Dr Venture, the hero. Filled with pop-culture references and plenty of action, this show really hits the spot.

I've only made it through the first two seasons so far, but i'm loving every minute of it! season one is almost painful to watch--that socially uncomfortable humor, but very funny, and season 2 is toned down a little bit but still hilarious. they play up the relationships more, but that's not to say that's the focus. anyways, i love it.

Canadian Skit-comedy troupe. Very different from SNL--situational humor that plays with your expectations, and is often very avant garde in format. Plays with a lot of literary conventions, and lots of satire. Five guys are stars and play 90% of the roles, including female characters. Every season is a winner.

I love this show, and this DVD has a lot of my favorite moments. Not as fun as watching a full episode, but if you love the show like i do this DVD is a must-have.

This is a rare gem. You have to tolerate the crappy animation, but it's got great material from a lot of big comedians, and funny side stories too.

If you can stand to be a little uncomfortable while watching someone tackle some of the funniest awkward situations you can imagine, you will like this show. Seasons 1-3 are my favorite. Most scenes are improvised from an outline--it works, and makes it more real.

You could pick just about any of the SNL DVDs and have some good laughs (except Best of Will Ferrell Vol.2 and Cheri Oteri--they stink). I love the stuff from the 90's, but also early shows with the original cast.

This was on TV when I was in middle school, but I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Batman and animation. It was a really well done series, plus Mark Hamil from Star Wars did the Joker's voice!
