As you see by my profile icon, this book and mini-series has offered me a new dialect of the Brideshead-obsessed. It has also served as a bizarre way to purge my sadness watching someone else's obsessive, and ultimately doomed, relationships and his listlessness; his inability to forget or move past the most fantastic, wistful Arcadia of his experiences.
