Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $10.88 Okay so here's one instance where this list moves away from horror. Some people might not consider this a slasher but as far as I'm concerned it is. Serial Mom is hilarious and what could be creepier than having the next Charles Manson as your mom?

Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $2.45 Arguably one of the most defining movies of the 90's, Scream is a great slasher. It added the idea of the rules of a horror movie and kicked off the second slasher craze. Don't miss this one!

Thanks to this film we have the countless slashers that do nothing but show hot teens getting trashed, having sex, and then getting slaughtered in totally gruesome ways. What would the world be without this film?

Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $2.98 Who in their right mind doesn't like a slasher musical!? This film delivers a great story, great acting, an awesome ending, and plenty of blood and guts to satisfy all you gore lovers out there. Don't pass it up just cause its a musical.

Buy used from: $5.99 April Fool's Day puts a new twist on the slasher genre. It has some great actors in it and I just appreciate the filmmakers giving us something different.

 | Halloween H20 - Twenty Years Later (Dimension Collector's Series)
Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $3.88 Halloween: H20 is my favorite of all the Halloween sequels. Great acting all around, great special effects, and a really well thought out story line really make this one stand out.

 | Grindhouse Presents, Death Proof - Extended and Unrated (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.49 And rounding out the list, we have Quentin Tarentino's Death Proof. This film also introduces a new aspect in the slasher genre - a stalker who kills people with his car. And you gotta love the wit that Tarentino throws in.
