nice little indian comp, though Serge Gainsbourge did a few tracks which I thought was odd, but completely delightful. A few tracks have added drum beats which I don't really understand, but overall it's a really great disc. Great Driving music! The theme song for 'Don' is worth the price of the disc alone.

Improper-a, Imp Opera, Improv. how ever you choose to read it, this music combines everything I ever wanted from music. It's theatrical, exotic, other wordly, sweet, scary, ancient, avant garde. It's like Kurt Weil dropped acid with Yma Sumac. It's a wild ride!

I never understood why Sesame Street was considered so square. The songs are catchy and the animation is border line psychedelic. Both of these old school collections are essential! Wait til you see the way Big Bird looked in 1969!

I was thrilled to discover this being released on Criterion! An epic adventure story! Based on Arabian Nights, this technicolor classic has some of the coolest effects of the time. Sabu steals the show!

one of my favorite noir films. Two newly weds get seperated on their honeymoon cruise. The wife begins frantically searching for her husband, only to find out that there's no record of his existence on the ship! The foggy atmosphere really adds to her confusion and fragile mind set.

I havent seen these, but from the trailer of Year of the Yahoo, it looks like a b-movie ripoff of A Face in the Crowd, and I can dig that.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this book, mainly because of the authors self promotion. It's like reading Clifford Pickover's journal or some drunken intellectual ramblings on a variety of subjects. If taken with the proper mind set, you can really get a lot from it. It will make you want some sushi, that's for sure.
