An informative and tastefully filmed documentary on the Celtic understanding of Sex and Sexuality. A good movie to watch after dancing the maypole on Beltaine! Or before.

It's not going to win any awards, and some of it's history smacks of the traditional Greco-Roman historic bias against Celtica. Veiw it with a grain of salt over the shoulder, and it's a good entertainment. Just don't take notes.

I love this film. The magic is exaggerated and fictionalized, but it is funny and doesn't offend Pagans as so many films using our traditions do. Funny family conflict between unabashedly Wiccan aunts and their neice trying to "be normal." Where else in film can you hear a mother call out to her departing daughter, "And no dancing naked around the Beltaine fires!"

Some of the best songs compatible with earth spirituality come from Disney in recent years. This films message of the interdependence of all in the Circle of Life is a perfect introduction to the nature loving ways of Paganism. Sing "Circle of Life" with your kids!

Mermaids, disgruntled witches who use magic for less than stellar aims, and ocean creatures who sing, and of course, King Triton. Seems like a celebration of ecclectic Wicca to me, a kind of clash of cultures coming of age with magic.

I just discovered this short lived television series and I wish there were more episodes. Not only is Heath Ledger a joy to watch, but the scripts are more consistently accurate historically and philosphically than almost anything I have seen on the Pagan Celtic people. Good stuff!
