I will rewatch this on DVD and I'll buy it to complete my X-Files collection, but man, just thinking about this makes me want to yawn.

I liked Frank Miller's Sin City books and I loved Robert Rodriguez's movie, but this movie? Talk about your self indulgent self gratification! Visually jarring, overacted, and just plain bizarre. This is what happens when you give a comic book writer an undue lift to his ego. Just horrible.

This was the first movie that I seriously considered walking out of about half way through, after I saw a fleeting glimpse of Jolie-butt. It's high grade crap for high grade, short attention span having, crackhead poseurs that think they know what it means to be hardcore. Watch some movies, tykes.

This seemed like a cool concept attached to a wooden star. It was a cool concept attached to a wooden star. A step above "suck" due to the impossible to suck presence of Mr. Samuel L. Jackson. Still, disappointing.

I wanted all the characters to walk into a house fire, while dousing themselves with gasoline. Everybody in this movie couldn't act to save, well, anything. Poorly executed and boring.

Again, this is a cool little idea for a movie. Except, well, I'm pretty sure the real people the book was based on were mostly Asian. But hey, it's ok, we got an Asian comic relief guy instead. You know, so the lead could be white.

A pretty cool concept marred by a pretty crappy story and even crappier fx. A waste of time and film.

I'm kinda on the fence on this film, on the one hand it is poorly acted, cheesy beyond all measure, and not all that terrifying, yet for some reason I get this weird Dario Argento/ Lucio Fulci vibe from watching it. Besides, it has a messed up ending. Still, it seems kinda anti-climactic throughout.

Just a really poorly done animated film with an interesting concept for Horror fans. But they overuse Louis Prima songs and it's just so badly drawn.

Oscar bait where the cast seems dangerously close to cracking up in each and every scene. I'd have to guess that the book is better. I mean it has to be.
