I was actually shown this movie in my Legal Ethics class, and like most of my class-mates, had never seen this movie before. Not great theater but typical for the time period.

Documentary of French court handling all sorts of petty crimes and infractions. France is a Civil Code system, dating back to the revolution, and has a very different feel/flow. Fascinating film.
