Two-time Tony nominee (Featured Actor in a Drama) BIFF McGUIRE played radio operator Bob McCaffrey in between MAKE MINE MANHATTAN (1948) & DANCE ME A SONG (1950). Sings with the Seabees.

RON HUSMANN's fine baritone was first heard on Broadway as the 4th Player in "Politics & Poker" & with the other Politicians in "The Bum Won" & "Little Tin Box." Great score, great show.

HUSMANN turns in a fine performance as Edwin Bricker ("We Speak the Same Language," "I've Just Seen Her," "I Couldn't Have Done It Alone"). Later Capt. Fisby in LOVELY LADIES, KIND GENTLEMEN (1970).

One of LEN CARIOU's best roles was Fredrik Egerman in this adaptation of "Smiles of a Summer Night." A second Tony nomination. He sings "Now," "You Must Meet My Wife" & "It Would Have Been Wonderful."

Alan Jay Lerner's adaptation of "Idiot's Delight" was his last Broadway show. Lasting for a single performance, it has some truly lovely moments. CARIOU's "There's Always One You Can't Foget" is one.

WILBUR EVANS honed his warm baritone in operas & operettas before playing David Winthrop in this Cole Porter show. His big number is "I Love You." (So what if he sounds a bit like Nelson Eddy?")

EVANS starred with Mary Martin in the London production of SOUTH PACIFIC (1951); later replaced the Inn Keeper in MAN OF LA MANCHA. Here he sings "Alone Too Long" & "More Love Than Your Love."

RAINES might not make you forget John Raitt, but you'll certainly forget Harry Connick, Jr. RAINES is Sid to Judy Kaye's Babe. What a combination! "There Once Was a Man," "Hey There," "Small Talk."

As the Preacher, RAINES rises above - way above - the triteness of Richardson's music & Cole's lyrics. He shows real leading man stuff on "The Lord Will Provide," "Love & Hate," "Expect a Miracle."
