Buy new: $43.99 / Used from: $43.96 Another fabulous show created by Brian Fuller (Wonderfalls and Pushing Daises) all of which don't seem to succeed. For those of you that are getting sick of most TV shows, you need to get familiar with Brian Fuller.

Being Erica: don't ask me how I found this show. It is such a gem you would never guess that it plays on Soap Net (don't worry it is SO NOT a soap opera). It's a Canadian show, with an amazing cast. Take my word for it, its great.

Men in Trees is a wonderful show with quirky characters. The setting (Alaska) is gorgeous. Once again it was cancelled after only a few seasons.

Buy new: $20.99 / Used from: $11.95 The first season of Dirty Sexy Money is so fantastic, but by the second and final season, it starts to fizzle. That said, the show is highly entertaining and fun to watch.

While a bit on the slow side, Northern Exposure is a series not to be missed. Lots of lovable characters, beautiful setting, and an interesting story line, make this show.

Buy new: $27.99 / Used from: $24.99 Mad Men is about an ad agency in the 1960s. The show is a bit slow, but it is always interesting.

Buy new: $134.99 While on the surface, Ugly Betty is a cute and funny show about a young girl living her life in New York. The show also dives into American Society and the role it plays in everything from our obsession with looks, to illegal immigration.
