This DVD is sensational and has about the best recorded performance of The Howlin' Wolf available. It also features rare footage of Big Joe Williams, Fred Below and Little Brother Montgomery.

If you love the Blues you'll love this. Has intimate and rare insights with Blues people discussing this genre. Some artists are Charles Brown, Lowell Fulson, Koko Taylor and Hubert Sumlin. Very good.

This series is fabulous! It contains many rare performances by Blues Legends. The best and rarest of all the only known footage of Little Walter playing on this DVD. A must for fans!

A great film. Some artists are not pure blues artists but it's still great. Buddy Guy is at his best. And this is the great Gatemouth Brown's last perfromance get it!!! Very entertaining!

This lastest to be released Albert Collin's concert is a treat. He has a great band with Derek O'Brien from the Anotone's House Band in Dallas with him and Reece Wynan's from Double Trouble. This is an awesome set from the "Master of the "Telecaster".

One of the best blues concerts ever! Collins demonstrates his fabulous percussive technique. The band is also very good with Debbie Davies. Top selection is "Frosty" with guest Duke Robillard.

This variable outing has the best Albert King sound you'll ever get. Buddy Guy and Jr Wells are Ok and Sippie Wallace makes her last performance. Great entertainment.

B.B. King is featured on an HBO special in the 1980s. It has some great Albert King spots with Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Etta James and SRV. A collector's item!!

This DVD includes a great Muddy Waters set with Bill Wyman on bass. But the highlight is Buddy Guy and Junior Wells in their prime. A fantastic experience. Jr on chromatic harp is just great!

The late great Albert King is featured in this video (rare) of him with a full band. Although his guitar is phaser driven it is still a great performance. Hear "Kansas City" and "Stormy Monday".

This concert demonstrates the versatility of the great Duke. Top tunes in this set are "Gee I wish" a great swing blues and "Glamour Girl" an ode to T-Bone Walker. He also plays a bit of Magic Sam!

The DVD in this set is excellent. It has a documentary on Buddy's career and some rare performances. NB: while some of the titles are the same, this DVD does not present the same versions of any tunes previously released (eg, in the Montreux series).It even shows rare footage of Buddy doing "Things I Used To Do" and even "Red House" with Joe Satriani.

A great set with the fabulous Lightnin Hopkins. Even has him playing electric guitar and wah-wah pedal on the "Austin City Limits" show at the end.

A collection of rare clips from the great and enigmatic Howlin Wolf. The story is great and the song selection and Sam Lay home movies are well worth the price of the DVD.

Most of my list is Electric blues, but this Rev Gary Davis set is RARE and excellent and features the most comprehensive footage on the Rev. available. He was the greatest Blues Fingerpicker of all time. Get this and see why.

This is the best SRV show available. Nothing in the last few years comes close to it. While both shows are fantastic, I feel the initial performance, the famous one with the booing, is his best work. He really shows how he can play with soul.
