Buy new: $5.99 / Used from: $0.01 This book represents Ramona's series overall, as I could not ignore it in making this kind of list. Though Cleary may have written better books, such as Dear Mr. Henshaw, I would choose a pack of Ramona books over the greatest classics if I were ever stuck on a desert island.

Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $2.58 And finally, a book that I love mainly because of the experience I had with my friends reading it. Though perhaps not one of the best books I've ever read, I had to put Tuck Everlasting on my list because my memories of this book will, like the Tuck family, live forever.
