This is another excellent DVD for beginners who never done belly dancing before. I've first rented it because I didn't know what to expect but I liked it so much that I bought it. Compared to Jenna's, it is a little bit more fun, easier to complete, has music throughout but not as meticulous and thorough on technique as Jenna's. Both are excellent but in different ways.

Before I got the basic movements down couldn't really use this DVD even though Blanca's explanations are very clear but it didn't make sense to me at the time. Then I watched this later after the first two dvd's and ever since I love it! It is different, very slow and sensual, relaxing. I use it mostly while I'm on my period and tend to be slower, in a different mind frame anyway.
