Great period piece set in the years leading up to WWII and during the war, with Charlize playing a spoiled rich American brat, Stuart Townsend playing an idealistic Irishman, and Penelope playing a refugee from the Spanish Civil War living in Paris. Very well done movie.

Penelope is literally the girl of Martin Freeman's dreams. When he finally meets her for real, she's not what his dreams lead him to believe.

Fantastic Spanish language film that was later ineffectually made into Vanilla Sky with a guy with a sexual attraction to couches. A man is left disfigured by an accident casued by a psycho-woman, just as he's trying to gain the affections of Penelope, who happens to be the love interest of his best friend.

A reasonably well done adaptation of Clive Cussler's most illconceived Dirk Pitt novel. Total suspension of disbelief is needed for the novel, and absolutely essential for the movie.

Penelope and an angel from heaven battle over the soul of a boxer who holds the key to the future in a fun multilingual film.

A less that thrilling psychological thriller with Halle Berry playing a psychiatrist who wakes up as a patient in the asylum she works in, without any recollection of getting there. Most of the cast is wasted, including Penelope.

Perfectly good story ruined by turning it into a Tom Cruise vehicle.
