I liked this since i first saw it over 15 years ago. Again, the fight scenes are well-animated and brutal, and it features most of the earlier dbz characters who really weren't sitting around.

An early dbz classic. As the first movie, Goku, Piccolo and a very young Gohan are the main characters. This movie is unusually well-balanced between the three.

Dbz fans have different opinions of Broly, but of his three appearances in dbz, this is his first and easily his best.

Kind of more sentimental with the story centered on a mysterious being and his relationship with young Trunks. The main villain however is decidely less interesting.

Despite the appearances of all the major dbz characters, this movie has one of the most formulaic dbz storylines ever, which basically amounts to the bad guys appearing and disappearing!

Of all the early dbz movies, this has to be the least entertaining, with only a few decent early fights scenes, a weak and pointless villian, and, since it's one of the older movies, only a few main dbz characters.
