Dragon Ball Z - The Return of Cooler (Uncut Feature)Dragon Ball Z - The Return of Cooler (Uncut Feature)
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $1.71
Not necessarily the best, but definitely one of my favorites. The fight scenes are quite grueling and brutal in a classic dbz style.
Dragon Ball Z - The Movie - Tree of MightDragon Ball Z - The Movie - Tree of Might
Buy used from: $1.97
I liked this since i first saw it over 15 years ago. Again, the fight scenes are well-animated and brutal, and it features most of the earlier dbz characters who really weren't sitting around.
Dragon Ball Z - Bojack Unbound (Uncut)Dragon Ball Z - Bojack Unbound (Uncut)
Buy used from: $2.55
Set around a futuristic Martial Arts Tournament, this movie has most of the major dbz characters appearing and battling in some decent and well-animated fight scenes.
Dragon Ball Z - The Movie - Dead ZoneDragon Ball Z - The Movie - Dead Zone
Buy used from: $0.41
An early dbz classic. As the first movie, Goku, Piccolo and a very young Gohan are the main characters. This movie is unusually well-balanced between the three.
Dragon Ball Z - Cooler's Revenge - Feature (Uncut)Dragon Ball Z - Cooler's Revenge - Feature (Uncut)
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $1.72
Cooler is cool! You just can't wait to see what he could do that his brother couldn't.
Dragon Ball Z - Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan (Uncut)Dragon Ball Z - Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan (Uncut)
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $0.46
Dbz fans have different opinions of Broly, but of his three appearances in dbz, this is his first and easily his best.
Dragon Ball Z: Fusion RebornDragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $1.98
I'm not a great fan of stories set in dbz's weird "otherworld", but as one of the newer movies, it has top-notch animation and fight scenes.
Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the DragonDragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon
Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $2.52
Kind of more sentimental with the story centered on a mysterious being and his relationship with young Trunks. The main villain however is decidely less interesting.
Dragon Ball Z - Broly - Second Coming (Uncut)Dragon Ball Z - Broly - Second Coming (Uncut)
Buy new: $22.49 / Used from: $0.97
This is the first and only movie with adult Gohan playing the lead role. Then we're left with the kids, Goten and Trunks which i've never really cared for. Still a good movie though.
Dragon Ball Z - Movie 7: Super Android 13 (Uncut)Dragon Ball Z - Movie 7: Super Android 13 (Uncut)
Buy new: $14.49 / Used from: $2.09
Despite the appearances of all the major dbz characters, this movie has one of the most formulaic dbz storylines ever, which basically amounts to the bad guys appearing and disappearing!
Dragonball Z: Lord SlugDragonball Z: Lord Slug
Buy used from: $7.74
Average fight scenes, animation and villains, and only one or two highlights, the movie and its very few main dbz characters are somewhat unappealing.
Dragon Ball Z - The Movie - The World's StrongestDragon Ball Z - The Movie - The World's Strongest
Buy used from: $0.63
Of all the early dbz movies, this has to be the least entertaining, with only a few decent early fights scenes, a weak and pointless villian, and, since it's one of the older movies, only a few main dbz characters.
Dragon Ball Z: Bio-BrolyDragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $0.46
This movie features mainly Goten, Trunks and Android 18, which isn't such a bad thing, if the main bad guy, Broly, wasn't a friggin' green slimy bio-mutant!
