You'll have to seek this one out. It's part of the expensive Kubrick boxed DVD set. To find it seperately, requires buying it "used", but it's worth the time and extra effort.

This documentary is exceptional. There are loads of interviews with today's top directors and their film editors. Examples are shown, from the infancy of editing during the silent movie era, all the way to recent blockbuster action films.

And...for super-extra added value: if you're fortunate enough to have an HD-DVD player: the same documentary 'The Cutting Edge' is an added feature on this edition of 'Bullitt', and...'The Cutting Edge' is ALSO in high-def, unlike most extra features on HD discs. It, alone, is worth the price of this disc.
