A darker, deeper follow-up to an already well made film. Nolan submerges us in the gritty crime of Gotham City from frame one, Heath Ledger left us with a delightfully twisted final portrait of the Joker, and the level of the plot is matched by the blood-boiling action sequences.

I wouldn't say Unleashed is superior to the first Ginger Snaps, but it's certainly a good film in its on right. Its an even darker and more visceral tale about struggling on through impending darkness. Don't forget Ginger Snaps Back either, completing one of the oddest but most compelling trilogies out there.

The first sequel is my favourite in the Omen trilogy. Pivotal moments reach the young and privileged Antichrist Damien Thorn, and from the first to last scene, the most memorable of all Omen films. Say no more.

The grandest, darkest, most tragic and most thrilling film in the entire Star Wars saga. It may tie the films together a little desperately, but it's nevertheless a fantastic film to watch.

Every Alien-film is worthy in its own right, something quite rare, so I'd really recommend the extensive Alien Quadrilogy set. But when it comes down to it, Aliens kicks all sorts of space tail!
