40 Oz. to Freedom (Guitar Recorded Version)40 Oz. to Freedom (Guitar Recorded Version) by Sublime
Buy new: $19.95 / Used from: $14.95
Sublime. My intro into quality music in early junior high. Interest in reaggea and punk music stems from this. Beautiful album, from start to finish. Bradley Nowell is amazing. One of those ones where people dislike it cause they don't get it and it doesn't have the same catchy feel as the self titled. But if the time is taken it blows you away.
A Collection of Pop ClassicsA Collection of Pop Classics by Reagan Youth

The first half is some fantastic hardcore punk rock. Probably one of my favorite punk albums and bands. They're songs are insightful and thoughtful, but full of the angst and aggression that makes hardcore so great.

All i can say is, he's not for everyone. But those of you who are up for it Daniel Johnston can change your life. His songs are beautiful and amazing on some of the most basic levels of musicianship, but their raw emotionality are gut wrenching. Listen to everything you can, and don't let it slide past, open yourself up to it.
