#49: CARRIE BRADSHAW (Portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker) - The first female of the list, who deserves it. The end of the series rang in a motto that every woman and/or girl should truly live by and take to heart: "The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the 'you' you love, well, that's just fabulous.

#48: BRENDAN FRYE (Portrayed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - Not many actors today can pull off the quick-witted, sharp-tongued acting/dialogue of the 1930s/1940s. But Gordon-Levitt does it nicely in this contemporary high school noirish whodunit from newcomer Rian Johnson.

#46: THE BRIDE (Portrayed by Uma Thurman) - Thurman displayed both toughness and vulnerability while trying to avenge her and her daughter's supposed death.

#44: CAPT. JOHN H. MILLER (Portrayed by Tom Hanks) - Hanks purely embodies the soldier who merely wants to make it home, but, at the same time, is willing to do whatever is necessary to save his country from tyranny - and all the while keeping his humanity.

#42: TOM REAGAN (Portrayed by Gabriel Byrne) - Being a longtime fan of Humphrey Bogart, if there were ever a role he was to play, Tom Reagan would have been it. But Byrne rightly does this role justice and takes the reins in this double-cross story.

#40: ELLIS BOYD "RED" REDDING (Portrayed by Morgan Freeman) - Freeman takes every role and makes it into an award-winning performance! Seen here as an aging inmate who helps his friend Andy, he does not disappoint in being the link between the audience and the movie's main message.

#38: JOHN "BLUTO" BLUTARSKY (Portrayed by John Belushi) - This movie is the most memorable of Belushi's career and his character is one that everyone would like to party with.

#36: REBECCA "NEWT" JORDEN (Portrayed by Carrie Henn) - While Newt was a silent character, she was smart and central to the plot of "Aliens." Today we mostly get children being portrayed as energetic, annoying half-wits.

#34: ALEX P. KEATON (Portrayed by Michael J. Fox) - While it seems like Fox's Alex Keaton doesn't seem all that memorable, I ask you to rewatch episodes like season five's "A, My Name is Alex." Not only did his character show great humor, he showed tremendous depth and insight.

#33: CLARK KENT (Portrayed by Tom Welling) - Welling's Clark Kent shows us that even though Superman has great, awesome powers, he still has the loneliest life: to have to hide who he is from those who love him the most and always face the fact that he is an alien to the place he calls home.

#31: DON VITO CORLEONE (Portrayed by Marlon Brando) - Brando was always hailed as one of the greatest actors of all time. It's easy to see why here as he literally transforms himself into the role of Don Vito. He always gave every ounce of himself to his acting and it's that dedication that makes him the legend he was.

#29: CORKY ST. CLAIR (Portrayed by Christopher Guest) - There is no character that I laugh at every time I watch this movie more than Guest! Playing the part of aspiring community theater playwright and actor Corky St. Clair, Guest knows how to create great, funny characters.
