We love our version of this carseat, and are happy that it will hold a bit more height/weight than some other infant carseats on the market. Safety ratings are great, very comfy, a cinch to secure baby into, and easy to install.

Cut & sew cheap microfiber cloths to make the most absorbant diaper doublers (don't use these directly against baby's skin - they are so absorbant they will dry it out).

Also essential for our little winter baby - these are pricey, but I've found them on clearance for a reasonable price and made my own out of adult socks. If it's mild enough to do without a snowsuit, her little legs could still use an extra layer while she rides around in a baby carrier.

Our midwives showed us how to give an olive oil massage - slather the babe from head to toe and five minutes later it's completely absorbed and she's all soft and silky. I was happy that we could use something that's all natural. Also great for their bums to make those first few sticky diapers a breeze to clean up.

Pumping breastmilk is the devil, but on the rare occasion that it is required, this gets the job done - no needs for a costly electric pump.

These have worked well for severe teething pain. A little more effective than Camilia during really rough spots.
