Christopher Moore is at his finest in this hilarious, sharp-witted, and strangely moving novel which involves a fresh and fascinating view on what happens after death.

I'm biased when it comes to Holmes. There is just a wealth of good reading and film when it comes to this detective. I've just listed the cannon here, there are tons of novels and short stories written by other authors that can be found just by poking around about it.

Even if you've never really heard of this B-movie actor the book is still hilarious and well-worth reading. Also, if you enjoy this check out his second book "Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way."

A different, more realistic take on King Arthur. Less fantasy and more historical fiction. Great story, lots of action (with the occasional graphic description for you guys), and overall a addictive series. Three books in all.

Great classic. Right up there with the Three Musketeers and Les Miserables.

Okay, there are enough Doctor Who dvds to keep you busy for at least a month. The classic series is pretty good, but the new series is fantastic.

Classic poets as detectives? Yeah, good mystery, good characters, quick read.

John Woo, Chow Yun-Fat, and Hong Kong action films at their finest.

Historical fiction series set in Spain. I love foreign authors because when the novel is translated into English the writing always has an exotic and new feel to it.

Best version of a great novel.
