One of the only movies I know to depict Nazis who actually speak German, not English with an accent (preferably British). Bruno Ganz's portraial of Hitler is amazing. He sets the standard for any future actors who may want to portray the dictator.

Robert Mitchum is truly creepy as the murderous reverand, and the movie enjoys some of the most unique shots I've ever seen in any movie.
