Who hasn't seen this movie if at all remotely curious, interested or fans of either megastar? The unattainable White Knight and IR relationship that may or may not move beyond confines. Can't imagine in real life, a clean end after such intensity. If you've ever gone there, you can imagine the real deal.

the good thing about this film and MII is that it's not a story about the idea of IR dating, etc., the IR part just happens to be part of a story, and isn't a concern or focus. Rather the people and their story are what's going on. Not their race.

somethings old, new, borrowed, and blue from the IR world appear in this movie about a relatively wealthy black corporate exec overcoming obstacles as a minority in corporate America, willing to keep an open mind, overlook slights, to keep her dreams alive. oh yeah, and the guy has some limited depth to his role, too; unlike the woman, IR is not new to him.

Halle Berry bares all--her heart, soul, her chest, and is down for a man she needs, and who needs her. Need say more?

overlook the stereotypical setup of the entrance of a black housekeeper in the 50s into white household, and the heart of the story is solid, family friendly, and stays clear of stereotypical interracial sex pandering, and a family of individual real people emerge stronger for their union.
