Catherine Mary Stewart plays a big sister valley girl who wakes up one morning to zombies, red dust and one mean group of scientists. Great, quirky camera work keeps making the old tropes new again. Fantastic 80's feel and one of the funniest end scenes from the decade.

This is a great Joe Dante film. A loving and clever nod to classic sci-fi horror. It takes place in Key West on the eve of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Paranoia is in the air . . .and John Goodman, playing a delightfully sleezy movie maker, is ready to make a profit.

Two for the price of one! Though the first is the best, both are fantatically fun and macabre Vincent Price vehicles. If you like completely over-the-top revenge tales mixed with late 60's psychedelic fashion Dr. Phibes can't be beat.

This is the silliest movie on the list. But look at the cast!: Bridget Fonda, Bill Pullman, Oliver Platt, Betty White... The performances are great. The script is fast and fun. This movie doesn't aspire to cover any new territory. But sometimes it's good to just lighten up and enjoy the swinging cow (don't worry, the cow makes it through ok).

B-movie king Roger Corman goes into the Beat coffeehouse scene with very funny and bloody results. Dick Miller delivers a wonderful performance as accidental-cat-murderer-turned-accidental-artist.

I've already mentioned many of the films in this collection. But even though I own 5 of these movies already, I almost bought this collection to just recognize the amazing value! Also, it looks like Tales of Terror and Twice Told Tales is out of print right now except in this packaging.
