Kids would probably like them too.The older sister played by Alexa Vega is the dominant leader, with her sort of bumbling side-kick of a brother. Totally kid friendly and presents a good female role young kids to teens.

The first movie won Academy Awards, beating out Taxi Driver and All the Presidents Men for best picture. Rocky is a love story, pure and simple. Hands down one of the best feel-good movies ever made. Follow it up by the last film, Rocky Balboa (huge tear-jerker), and you have a really great character study of one man.

Buy new: $42.99 / Used from: $18.95 Alien and Aliens created the first real female action hero. Sigourney Weaver kicks butt in both of these movies. Sci-fi horror at its best. Aliens has it all: empowerment of women, maternal instincts, forcing the act of birth upon male characters (which kills them), and more fallacies than H.R. Geiger could draw.
